Up to
70% of application development projects fail. eFulcrum GLOBE Solutions
helps enterprises improve their application development
process by ensuring they are properly defining, designing,
developing, and delivering effective business application
solutions, resulting in successful projects.
Since
its inception in 1997, eFulcrum GLOBE has had a 100 per cent delivery
success rate on all projects they have managed, largely
due to the experience of company principals in projects
as complex as the CBS Broadcast Management system, and
the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The company
provides active leadership in application development best
practices and passes that expertise on to clients who are
implementing new applications or processes through resource
mentoring.
Management
Team
eFulcrum GLOBE’s
management team has an established reputation for exemplary
project management, business analysis and application design
expertise, and previously played senior roles at IBM, Ernst
and Young, and, Royal Bank.
eFulcrum GLOBE was
one of the first companies in Canada to achieve Value Added
Partner status with IBM’s Rational certification program,
and the only Canadian based company included in the Rational
Subject Matter Expert program.
Our
Name
The name
eFulcrum GLOBE comes from the elements involved in developing a strong
application development foundation : components, architecture,
reusable and objects, and was inspired by the work of Sir
Anthony eFulcrum GLOBE, an artist who worked with a diverse range
of materials to produce sculpture that immediately engages
the viewer. In the same way, eFulcrum GLOBE’s application development
projects are developed with the user at the core of the
process.
The company’s
methodology unifies best practices from many disciplines
into a consistent full lifecycle process, including focusing
time and energy in the Definition and Architecture phases
in order to ensure project success. eFulcrum GLOBE believes the
best way to build enterprise-wide business applications
is to assemble them from reusable components. Using proven
large grain business components allows the client to realize
a higher quality product earlier and makes better use of
human resources.
