Senior Sales Executive Required:

eFulcrum GLOBE Solutions Inc. is a Toronto-based Systems Integration company that is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to complement our winning team of professionals. We are currently seeking a Senior Client Executive to be a trusted business advisor / sales executive to pursue opportunities in our IBM Solutions practice. Candidates will be responsible for developing and executing creative strategies that engage customer executives with compelling vision and business value around our “value of experience” mantra; leveraging eFulcrum GLOBE resources and solutions to deliver value-based proposals that transform the customer’s process to achieve superior performance; and closing IBM-based application development business opportunities that displace the competition.

The qualified candidate will have 10-15 years of systems integration sales experience with several years in working with IBM customers looking for new solutions. You will need to have existing industry executive relationships, strong track record in closing business with C-level executives, excellent business value/technology knowledge in the latest Web-based application server technologies, strong consultative solutions sales skills, and persuasive communication/presentation abilities. A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Marketing and competitive systems integration sales experience a plus. Priority will be given to candidates in the Greater Toronto Area though qualified Ontario-based candidates may also be considered. Business travel is anticipated to be contained initially to the Greater Toronto Area but will eventually require North American travel.

Sybase ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) DBA:

We are currently a year or so away from implementation and have an urgent need for an expert Sybase ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) DBA. The job will require expertise in the following.

• Recoverability - Creating and testing Backups
• Integrity - Verifying or helping to verify data integrity
• Security - Defining and/or implementing access controls to the data
• Availability - Ensuring maximum uptime
• Performance - Ensuring maximum performance given budgetary constraints
• Technical support - Helping the user community to efficiently utilize the database

Technical Requirements

• At least (10) ten years experience in DB administration, development and support.
• Assist in installation of Sybase software and Sybase Replication.
• Perform application/database tuning and performance monitoring.
• Resolve performance issues, connectivity / security issues and database corruptions in a critical fast paced production environment.
• Able to perform Sybase database setup and configuration, database upgrades, server resource management, backup/recovery and system documentation.
• Able to merge/extract data from multiple sources into and from a data warehouse.
• Able to perform Database Administration and Development of Sybase 12.5 and Sybase Replication Server management using LTM's and Repagent.
• Able to perform Database Administration and Development tasks independently in Sybase 11.9.2, 12.0, 12.5
• Assist in setup and maintenance of High-Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions in Sybase using Sybase Replication.
• Should have good communication skills with management, development/application teams, vendors and systems administrators
• With the assistance of other DBA's provide 24X7 support in a critical production and development environment.
• Should have the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively in all levels of IT and with Vendors
• Working knowledge of Oracle and ETL would be an asset.
• Able to create customized reports through reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, ad hoc queries

Senior Java Developers

• Minimum of 4 years programming experience with heavy focus on web-based application development.
• 3 to 5 years strong object-oriented development background with hands-on development using Java, J2EE, STRUTS/JSF (or equivalent).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Industry experience in JSF (Java Server Faces)
• Experience working with the Rational Unified Process, UML
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment and multi-task with little supervision.
